well, i had my doubts, but the press conference today was indeed to announce the return of the "classic" line up of The Stone Roses!

the band are to play two huge gigs at Heaton Park, Manchester, in June 2012, followed by a world tour, apparently. and it's a world tour that Ian Brown says will "go on until the wheels fall off it".

will i be trying to get a ticket? don't know really, maybe! will have to see if i can make it across! never mind that, just for the moment relish and enjoy that what was once viewed as impossible has been made possible.
