i don't know how i got quite so fortunate as to know so many talented people, but i do know i am glad that i do. as i write this i am listening to the somewhat unorthodox, certainly compelling vibes of a dear old friend Steve "Steven" Legget from a recent gig. you can join in with the listening by following the link here to his "mixcloud" thing. if you're a fan of the more atmospheric, minimalist soundtrack - the quieter moments of a Blade Runner or Merry Christmas, Mr Lawrence perhaps - as well as the 'beyond the infinite' elements of the 2001 soundtrack, i suggest you click soonest.
the recording is of the Sodium Orange gig at the Sanctuary in Gateshead, 1 February 2013. he's had a fair few mixes and recordings up on the net prior to this, but this one is for me a rather good introduction to his most mellow and audacious ambient sounds.
