James, illness and recovery

hey everyone

sorry for a delayed start to March updates. James was once again taken rather ill, diplaying a rather high temperature but oddly, and thankfully, no adverse fever symtoms. we took him to the doctor in between bringing his temperature down, and it appears that the young man had "baby measles", a year or so after he should have contracted it, if "should" is the right term.

a consequence of all this was a good four or five nights with little or no sleep for us, as he understandably got rather restless on an evening. quite a strain, but i am delighted to say that he seems to be back to full health, and has slept through the last two nights - for Michele and i, it has been like Christmas to get that!!

as it feels like a while since i put some new pics of him up, here are some from last week before he was taken ill. here he is at Grandma and Grandad's house, apparently ready to do some DIY work with Grandad!!

for someone who did not like wearing hats or caps very much at the start, in particular when out in the sun, James now seems to have developed a love for wearing them. this hard hat in his DIY kit does look rather smart! i wonder what he was planning to do with the drill? i hope that he has not had a sneaky watch of Driller Killer!!!!

and finally, one of him out in the garden. he has that "i am going to do something that i probably should not do" look about him, the mind boggles as to what class idea he had in regards of either Marmite or the tortoise!!

anyway, time to do some verk, i suspect. i have some more pics to put up here, will try and do so during the day!!

be excellent to each other!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
