after his illness a week or so ago it seems that James well and truly has his appetite back, and then some - he rather enjoys helping us cook!
here are some pics of him cooking mince and pasta wheels tonight. sorry if we do not all look picture perfect (i know, i never do!), a rather long hot day for all of us!
this is us trying to put the pasta in. instead of letting Dada grab some handfuls, James wanted to put them in the pot one at a time!!
and here is the expert stirring the mince and sauce! for those of you at Nunthorpe School 84 - 89 (a great era), in particular those of you in my form, E1, you may notice a 20 year old item (relic) in this picture!!!
oh dear, it looks like we are getting a bit bored with all this stirring!!!
and, like all good chefs (i suppose), a little bit happy and a little bit temperamental when it is not ready when he expects it to be!!
if i say so myself as a humble assistant, it was a rather fine meal, and James just about finished the whole bowl. as a treat for being such a good boy in helping us cook and eating his dinner, he was allowed four of his favourite marshmallows!!
