well, that was quick!
in response to this blog post, Cameron, the Master of Metal, worked out the identity of the owner of the car!
he simply worked out where in the world Old Grumpy's Gallery was (which means he does not read my blog very often, probably too busy being Metal), searched for any info on classic cars in that area, found this database of articles on classic cars in the area and then worked out that it must be this chap.
bravo Cameron for putting more effort in than i did!
UPDATE! Cameron, alas, is not quite as clever as i suggested. the above car does not belong to who it is suggested, according to my Dad. not that he is saying who it belongs to. open to guesses!!
