well, if you will forgive the quasi-Springsteen quote, James took another leap forward this weekend; not that he could take a leap back i suppose. just a bit before his 3rd birthday it seems that he had outgrown his cot, and so it was time to try him out with a bed. obviously Mummy was rather worried that he would keep rolling out, as well as a little sad that the era of the toddler is well and truly here!
it's a delight to report that James loves his new bed!
and i do mean loves it - he slept in until 7:30 this morning!! blimey, if i knew he would do that, the bed would have been in place a year ago!
of course, he does like to do in bed that which Daddy loves to do in bed....
..although my reading in bed does not normally involve colouring in large amounts of dinosaurs!!
