well, this should hardly come as a surprise - Paul Rutherford's Oh World album is on the way to me in the form of a 2nd hand, cheap-ish CD thanks to amazon's rather smart market place section. my thanks to Shaun for his wisdom, guidance and advice in this matter.we actually hit upon a quite class way to get this one past the wife, not that she would mind too much. it being an 18 year old Frankie related disc, i could have just slid it in the collection and said "but i have always had this album, why would i have not had a Frankie related CD?". a very good plan, but there were two major flaws in this charade.
firstly, Michele on a regular basis collects the post, so if she had picked this parcel up as and when it lands, she would obviously have been interested to know what it contained.
secondly, and this was the major flaw in the plan, Michele is a regular, and perhaps the most avid, reader of this very interwebnet site. there is every chance, then, that she will have read this ambitious plan and be having none of it!
