well, with the help of The Lion King distracting him on the TV, and Mama sharing a can of diet coke lemon stuff with him, i was able to get some rather decent pictures of James. here they are!!




quite the adorable, handsome young man when he takes the time to stop for the camera!




and here he is playing with one of his many, many presents from the weekend - a most excellent playdough set from Auntie Tasha, Uncle Brandon and Cousins Skyla and Jade!

he's not building anything with it as such, but is having fun rolling it about and using the stencils that came with it to make animals!





it just so happens that Mama loves playing with playdough, or plasticine as you may prefer to call it in some parts of the world. i guess the two of them will be using this quite a bit, then!




and of course there is only one way that such a busy weekend could be ended :
