for some reason i thought that i had not done a post on the subject of abandoned trolleys (which might actually be spelt trollies) since those hedonistic days of 2024. as point of fact, however, i did do at least one in 2025, look you see. not a particularly good or interesting one, but still.
so as not to disturb or distort anything to do with some unknown equilibrium in the universe that for no apparent reason relies on such, what was i saying, oh yes, here is a post on the subject for this year, being 2026. quite, as the title gives you every confirmation of indication, a mess of a trolley too.
wow. that was my reaction when i saw it, or what remains of it (the trolley), over a fence and beside a railway line. although one can see it is a trolley, perhaps it is best to say that it was once a trolley but is now not one no more. a hell of a beating, it has surely taken.
if it needs clarification, "fubar" is an acronym. a proper, actual acronym, which means the initials of a phrase make a pronounceable word. using my best censorship the origin of the acronym is "f****d up beyond all recognition", and was most commonly used to described what was left of the losing debater in a disagreement between two gentlemen (or more) serving custodial sentences. however, more recently, people use it to mean "f****d up beyond all repair", and the most frequent use of this is to define (or otherwise describe) a car that has seen better days, or just a brand new French one.
just using initials (and this does annoy me) like BBC, FBI, etc, is not an acronym, as none of them are pronounceable words. even CIA is something people say as C - I - A, and not "sia" or "seeya". they are just initials, before you start with "ah, they are abbreviations". an abbreviation is when you shorten words but still use words, the best example being "sci-fi" for "science fiction".
yes, who(m)ever did this certainly was short sighted. whatever brief pleasure one could have taken from seeing this trolley getting all fubar would be insignificant compared to the lucrative financial rewards of taking it to the nearest (tax efficient) scrap metal dealer. had they done that, of course, then i would not have been able to share these class pictures with you. quite the paradox, probably.
be excellent to each other!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
