persists in saying yes

heya

rather unexpectedly, this is another sort of prelude post (here) to a not really standard form of cigarette. no, not that sort of alternative cigarette, look you see. but, all the same, a kind (or form) of such that isn't them what get mass produced and traditionally sold in packs of twenty. 

one, as in i, has to tread carefully, i suppose. for some reason it has become the "thing" to refer to people from a huge chunk of the world as "asian", rather than of their country (as in place of birth). pretty sure this is down to that loud, vociferous minority on twatter and what have you somehow being able to dictate what the majority must do. 

so, anyway, mindful of that, i met a quite lovely gentleman off of india. the reasons for meeting are not of concern here, and thus will remain a private concern. on parting, though, he did give me a quite lovely gift. 

gifts, to be correct, for they were separate things. as you can see above, in the greater good and glory of Commodore 64 mode (of course), the gift(s) came in the form of what i believe are traditional, hand rolled cigarettes. wrapped in a leaf, which i would believe (or assume) is a tobacco one, but i am not able to say as fact. 

in total i was given five (5), but my associate, colleague or if you like chum took me up on the offer of one of them. which was kind of strange, as they are not traditionally of the smoker persuasion. that's all fine, and the four i have are better than the amount i had before, which is none. 

up to now, no, i have not smoked one of these. this is not due to any level of measured success in me either quitting or cutting down considerably (smoking is very silly, please note), i just have not gotten around to it. 

for scale, or comparison, there you go, one of them quite lovely Marlboro Gold cigarettes next to the gifted ones. not all that radical a difference in length, just the lack of a filter. also, if my eyes are seeing right, the hand rolled ones are somewhat thinner. 

certainly, or for sure, there is some trepidation in lighting one of these up, for i have no direct idea what's actually in them. but then, the same is true of regular, if you like conventional cigarettes. perhaps one day soon i shall light one up, then.
