you better shape up because i need a man

hello there

in a quite unusual and somewhat unexpected turn of events it was so that, recently, several of my favourite things all came together in one inspired moment. giving some sort of list of these is of course what i shall do, look you see, but best i qualify it. so, in no particular order, these favourite things include (and i suspect that i shall have forgotten some) shiny discs, cheap shiny discs, stripping, getting fit, dancing, banging vibes and probably some other stuff.

best i sort of go back to kind of the start of all this, then, going on the amount of pictures and even video what i have already uploaded. so yes, shiny discs. my preference is for listening to vibes, or if you insist music, on compact disc format. i really, really dislike all this "streaming" business, as it just doesn't sound right. a compact disc lets you hear music proper, and you get all the artwork, linear notes and stuff like that.

this, of course, puts me at odds with how society is going. for some reason, then, music in a physical format has been devalued. which means that when one walks into a charity shop, stocked solely with donations, one can find a great many classic albums sat there, on disc, going for most agreeable (as in extremely cheap) pricing.

whereas i could write a fair bit on some of the classics i have found, it's that one pictures above that is, of course, under discussion here. no less than two (2) shiny discs here, for Fit To Strip is one of those CD and DVD combinations. yes, i have purchased more better things, but here we are.

do i really need to elaborate on what Fit To Strip is? probably not, but also i am mindful of needing to write things around the pretty pictures here. i suppose i could just shove images on here and walk away from it, but this whole blog did start as an outlet for my compulsive need, wish and desire to write. from what i can work out, then, this is all designed to get you in physical shape to do some smart, boss dance moves which happen to include disrobing, or if you like stripping. the CD contains some tunes which one can do all of that to.

getting into shape is something that i would probably benefit from, for i do readily describe myself as overweight and out of date. add to that the fact that stripping is something i have always been rather, as in very, interested in, this appeared to be quite the winner. well, true, yes, up to now my interest in stripping has been more watching, less doing, but times change.

how am i getting on with it? not particularly well in the intended sense, i suppose. at the front is a kind of warning suggesting not to do the routines in it if it seems likely doing so will lead to injury or harm, and i am fairly confident that i would do myself a mischief if i tried. at one point just considering thinking about doing some of the deft moves in it caused me to pull a muscle or two, one in particular, but this is not that kind of blog, thank you, we'll have none of that.

is it likely that i shall press on (persevere) with this, giving it a go, going full tilt billy ho until i am in a bit better shape and can do all fancy striptease, pole dancing stuff? no, not really. well, i might have a look at the disc every now and then, see if it inspires me to try. but also i might not.

by no means is it so this means the set is a write off, or not going to get some use. let us not forget the CD aspect of this set, which does indeed have some smart tunes on it. a definite, if not definitive as such, plus is getting Boombastic off of Shaggy on a physical digital format. the real win, though, comes along with track one, which is Milkshake off of Kelis. as and when i feel the need to totes get my groove on, well, this is the song that lets, or enables, me to bust some moves and get funky.

further quality tunes exist on the disc, although not so many as you would think with 23 (twenty three) tracks on it. i suppose it's nice to have Groovejet off of Sophie Ellis-Bextor and whoever, and also there is an Ice Cube tune too. no, or rather yes, i do quite like Ice Cube, even if he does seem quite angry most of the time, but then to go back to the point, no, i would not generally or usually immediately think of him when thinking of deft songs to strip to. takes all sorts, presumably.

right, that there above is a video with comments by moi (me) to give some sort of film footage proof of evidence that i did try this thing out. well, kind of. ostensibly, or primarily, yes, that video was for a friend to give them an insight into my thinking about the routines and that. but i thought that anyone reading this far into this may wish to look at it, for whatever reason.

so no, then, it is exceedingly unlikely i shall get fit via the means proffered by this disc. indeed yes this is a bit of a shame, but there you go. perhaps i will become a bit (or trifle) fitter) purely from the magic of positive thought. this, i believe, works for some things. you know, put positive thoughts, energy and what have you out there in the universe, and such shall return.

yeah, the compact disc will get played, maybe, every once in a while. as outlined above, as and when i feel compelled to get my groove on but lack the right musical accompaniment, well, Kelis can be give a spin (so to speak) and then i should almost certainly have my groove on.

more musings, or ramblings, of this nature as and when, if i ever, find a similar disc set to this and go and also purchase it. but, for now, my best wishes of good fortune, and of course success, in any sort of strip or keep fit (or both) endeavours you undertake.

be excellent to each other!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
