hello there
since my readership numbers seem to be dwindling, or getting less and lesser ("fewer and fewer") i guess i can indulge one or two selfies here. well, two, look you see. oh, don't worry about moi and the falling reader numbers, this is no poor, poor pitiful me. i am quite aware of how my novelty factor wears off eventually, and even if i were to forget so there is always someone eager to remind me. plus, this is all for my own amusement, or catharsis. hence there being no ads.
anyway, this is being published, or posted, towards the death throes of january. rather a cruel and unforgiving month it is, too. many, some or possibly a few ("a less") commenced this year with some form of resolution, seeking to make their lot in life, if not plight, a bit better. this (or that) is not really my bag, baby, although i did indulge this last year.
for those of you who are reading this still, and for the fewer of those still pursuing some sort of casual resolution dedication, here you go, some inspiration to continue.
my basic (rudimentary) understanding of this resolution business is that most ("a non-fewer") undertake to get fit, keep fit, get in shape in some way or another. such has always struck me as rather futile, for we are not eternal, everything ends. but who am i to tell another how to live.
if you are looking for some sort of fitness tips and for some (inexplicable) reason have determined that this blog is the very place to look for such, then the unbridled joy of happiness i am displaying in the above picture tells you that the exercise bike is the way to go. especially one of these posh ones, even though it has an abstract, la-de-dah, poncy name.
why is an exercise bike the best for keeping fit? mostly, it has to be said, it's the legs what do the business end of getting you in shape (or "fewer unhealthy") with little or no involvement of arms or upper body for that matter. as you can see, that leaves you free to enjoy a nice cigarette or two, pedalling away with no a care in the world. one major (and i mean major) plus of these fancy exercise bikes is that someone has gone done welded a tablet thing to it. that means one can watch a nice bit of porno or similar whilst exercising, and of course smoking. there is no down side here.
keeping fit probably means having a different, sort of healthy diet too. let me help you with this, in the above. no doubt, or undoubtedly, you have heard the term "have your five a day". if you have no idea what that means, fear not, for no one is sure, they just repeat the mantra to look trendy. well, as it happens, the knickerbocker glory, available at select restaurants, has at least five (5) different sorts of cream, or ice cream, in it. going further there's also a raspberry or strawberry on top. indeed greens are important too, and you can see some sort of green leaf in (or on) this. one can very easily look at it and then set it aside to enjoy the very (presumably) healthy rest.
do you have to do the "thumbs up" when you engage in any of the above? not really. that just seems to be my signature trademark move for all of this, signifying that it's all good, or what have you. but, well, feel free to do so if you wish.
right, that's probably enough advice for one session. hope this has helped, somehow.
