if you are assuming that no he didn't or are wondering no, surely he is not that stupid, the answer is yes i did and, look you see, yeah i probably am. i was not quite prepared to totally give up on the idea that #SR040316 might have been an actual real thing, but for some reason was to happen one week later. so yeah, off i went to HMV on the off chance that a new Stone Roses recording had happened and was available to buy by members of the public.
i am very sorry to be the one that has to tell you that which you already know, which is that no, there was no evidence of a new release by The Stone Roses in the window of HMV at around 8:30am this morning.
yeah, i know there was no chance at all of it, but i mean, still. i wouldn't be much of a fan if i didn't go along and check, now, would i?
