today i had one of those days that you would call "busy". very busy, in fact, and it is likely to be a busy that keeps me in that state for a couple of days. the best way to deal with being busy is, of course, random acts of procrastination.
that is how i managed to spot this on TV. it was not at all what i was expecting from the name.
it sounds like the kind of plot that could make a really ace film, or otherwise the kind of plot that could be turned into a really spectacular Mills & Boon novel, the type of which i would almost certainly buy for my beloved mother-in-law. what is really does not sound like, however, is anything to do with the famous, celebrated and in many respects talented former Culture Club frontman.
assuming that the film takes its name from the protagonist, just what is it that the kidnapper does to his, i suppose this is the right word for them, victims? actually, hostages is possibly the right word? anyway, mindful of exactly why Mr George got a custodial sentence (google away), i am uncertain it is for his singing or his outrageous hats.
no, i didn't watch the whole film, i took its presence on the television to be a sign to stop procrastinating.
anyway,
War (war!) is stupid, and people are stupid, and love means nothing in some strange quarter.
