don't come to the house tonight

heya

for many a year - several, look you see - a popular saying was of how the only absolute certainties in life are death and taxes. true, undoubtedly, such is that they are certainties, but i am increasingly of the view that they do not stand so alone in being the "only" ones. as we carve our way through this ridiculous new century / millennium in which it is all going wrong, further certainties seem to be added. entirely random examples, unrelated to any particular plight of mine (honest) to add would be Hartlepool issuing a parking ticket to every vehicle which ever existed, Colchester turning every road they can find into a bus only lane, and London being a cycle only place.

one more certainty is, alas, that no matter what we do, no matter what we do, everyone is going to get a taste of this new plague. coronavirus, or covid, of course, since (apparently) i am not really allowed to call it lung aids or similar. yes, vaccines, masks, washing hands, keeping distance, etc. but no virus yet has truly respected such to its own extinction.

so yes, then. by the logic of the above, it would be surely so that i, moi, triple jabbed with whatever this vaccine is, taking as much care as possible, also stand to get knacked off of the plague at some stage. and here we are, then, at such a stage.

i appear to recall that someone somewhere published a comment that one should not post negative, or positive, or what have you plague tests on "social media", due to "fraud". well, despite my unfortunate and decidedly unsolicited status as a social media influencer, i do not consider my confessions here to be of a "social media" nature. also, not sure what fraud can be done with an image presented in the greater good and glory of Commodore 64 mode?

none of which, of course, seems particularly important (or relevant) momentarily. as i have a tendency, if not proclivity, to write these in advance, my most earnest hope would be that this is all a thing of the past by the time you read this. how wonderful it would be, too if, such were not to return.

perhaps i shall one day write the full story (or tale) of my plight with the plague, but not right now. just hope that, indeed, truly, science is correct and i am immortal and thus shall be here to speak of it.

be excellent to each other!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
