we come from the land of the ice and snow

hey there

winter is, look you see, coming. well, yeah, that is the catchphrase off of that show with all them massive dragons and that midget that likes sex and all them, i know, but it is also true of our weather at the moment.

there is no snow yet dear reader, but this morning we were blessed with the presence of ice and frost. or frosty ice. or, indeed, icy frost. as a consequence, the ability to freely just hop into a car and drive off has somewhat been taken away from us. well, from those who think it's important to see where you are going when you are out driving.

the above is indeed my (considerably) better half. she is one of those who does think it is a good idea to be able to see where you are going when you drive and that, hence her going to extraordinary measures to clear all that icy frosty ice frost off of her windscreen.

this is, as far as i am aware, the first visual presence my (considerably) better half has made on the blog thus far in 2016. i am not certain that it is an appearance she endorses or approves of, but there you go, here she is.

what, you want some footage of her scraping the ice off of her windscreen? but of course.

do i think it's important to have a clear windscreen and a high level of visibility as you drive? partially. i mean, it helps, for sure, and it's nice to have. is it more important than having quality vibes in the car? not really. most other drivers, after all, would be able to see me and get out of the way if required, but few if any other drivers on the road would be able to provide me with the correct music to accompany my journey.

i did as it happens enquire as to if my (considerably) better half might sort all of the frosty, icy like frost and ice out on my windscreen. her response was predictable but all the same worth seeing.

well, perhaps it will all just melt away when warmed up by the warmth of the quality vibes i shall play as i fashion a way to drive.

snow is anticipated as being with us during the week, which shall no doubt be all the more fun to clear off cars and drive through. if you're in a part of the world where these conditions shall be true for you, please do take care and decidedly do ensure you have a clear level of visibility through the windscreen.

be excellent to each other!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
