well, it is a long weekend here in our corner of the world. i have spent it, thus far, in the most relaxing way possible - running the dishwasher, washing some clothes, trying to tidy up the kitchen and all that. eventually i gave in and chilled, mostly by hacking off some razor sharp branches off a palm tree with some small garden shears.
i did the latter so i could, if you will excuse me matron, erect the massive lapa / tent / canopy thing to provide some shade in the garden.
James certainly approved!
i know you can't see the tent thingie in that pic, but i assure you that James is under it!
