Knight Rider returns. oh dear.

this post is primarily for Spiros, but if you for some obscure reason are a Knight Rider fan, then there is something of either excitement or offence for you in this post. however, as Spiros got me a copy of the Hoff's autobiography, it is mainly intended for him.

this is the next generation of Knight Rider. i forget the chap's name, but apparently he is the son of Michael Knight, and he has taken over the family business. yes, you will no doubt be pleased to hear, Hoff will make the odd cameo appearance every now and then in this new series, playing Michael Knight. no doubt he will hand over the odd bit of parental advice, and probably having a deep, sentimental chat with the talking car.

quite frankly, outside of the cool theme, i never really got the appeal of Knight Rider/ i mean, every week it seemed that KITT and Michael were in a situation that could only be resolved by KITT driving itself to the rescue, and/or having to fire of massive rockets at the back to jump over something. ho hum, four series of it suggest that many liked it. the episode with the "evil twin Michael Knight", played by the Hoff with a goatee, was rather special i guess.


and here, for those of you who get excited about these things, is the new KITT car, called KITT 3000 i believe. KITT 3000 is the kind of thing that Spiros, or quite possibly his brother, known only as The Dude, would paint down the side of his/their car.
