Indy sequel named 2008's top draw

US cinema audiences cannot wait to see Harrison Ford back in action as Indiana Jones, a survey of film fans suggests.
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull was named the most anticipated movie of 2008 in the poll.

Batman sequel The Dark Knight came second, just ahead of Nicolas Cage's National Treasure: Book of Secrets.

Crime drama American Gangster, actually set for US release in November, came fourth according to the 2,000 people polled by the MovieTickets.com website.

Next came The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, the follow-up to 2005 hit The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

The fourth Indiana Jones movie sees Ford, 65, reunited with director Steven Spielberg and producer George Lucas for the first time since 1989.

Cate Blanchett and Transformers star Shia LaBeouf co-star in the film, which also features British actors Jim Broadbent, Ray Winstone and John Hurt.

Plot details are being kept under wraps ahead of the film's worldwide release in May 2008.

The Dark Knight, which sees Britain's Christian Bale return to the role he first played in 2005's Batman Begins, will be released in July.

ahem, i think the best part of this particular story is that National Treasure - Book of Secrets has a 2007 release date :)
